Pismo Beach Pier Is a great place for a stroll.  On any given day you can watch Pelicans sore along the water and sometimes they even stop to say hello on the pier, but you must give them space!  You can also watch surfers catch waves.  Sea Otters, Seals and Sea lions like to catch waves too!  Depending on the time of year you can also watch whales! Avila Beach has 3 Piers! A small seaside town located next to San Luis Obispo. There are three piers, a small fishing harbor, and a beautiful beach often packed with sunbathers.
